The Cannon Inn is an independent pub owned and run by a local family. It is open daily from midday on a Wednesday to Monday (10am on a Saturday for breakfast).

We are closed every Tuesday except for private functions.

Food is served daily with the menu fully focused on affordable, traditional, hearty, home cooked favourites from roast dinners or mince and dumplings to our famous home made pies with various fillings available each week.

The Cannon Inn also prides itself on its variety of Real Ales, hosting many of our local breweries.

Booking for food is highly recommended. Please book a table through our website but if your booking is within 24 hours please give us a call on 0191 2530664 as the mailbox is not monitored 24/7.
